Capre Register - Claim a FREE registration place by this Tuesday!

We have already received a number of nominations from franchisees following the email introducing Capre last week.

This can be viewed here.

Premier Sport is a new Steering Group member for Capre and as part of this membership Capre has allocated 1 FREE* registration place per franchise before Tuesday 1st October. This means you can register one member of your coaching staff free of charge to Capre.

Premier Sport will be supporting Capre by promoting the register to schools and others who have influence in the sector. By your coach(es) joining the Register you and your staff will be able to provide assurance to both parents and schools that your business meets the high standards of the industry. Capre brings credibility and recognition to your Premier Sport business, enhancing the professionalisation of your workforce.

Capre is government-backed in its mission to encourage on-going professional development, regulation of the industry, and ensures that the highest industry standards continue to be met by our members.

Remember to send all nominations to Mel Jackson by Tuesday 1st October. From this date, franchisees who have already nominated may be given extra free places.

*The normal cost of joining the register is £38 per coach.

Coach Assessments

Following the changes to the Coach Assessment Process we can now confirm the templates on the resource section mirror those on the system. These templates can be printed off to help with the process. We apologise if this had caused any confusion.

New Assessment Guidelines as follows:

Each coach must complete a minimum of 3 assessments per year; our recommendation is that 1 assessment is carried out each term.

Requirements
by end of:
Autumn term (Sep-Dec) Spring term (Jan-Apr) Summer term (May-Aug)
Each coach should
have completed:
1 assessment 2 assessments 3 assessments

(these are the minimum number of assessments required, but more can be carried out)

Please note: if curricular coaching is being carried out by the coach, then at least 1 assessment of the 3 must be curricular

Each franchise must carry out a holiday assessment in each holiday period (not every holiday course or every coach)

Requirements
by end of:
Autumn term (Sep-Dec) Spring term (Jan-Apr) Summer term (May-Aug)
Each franchise should
have completed:
1 holiday assessment 3 holiday assessments 5 holiday assessments
(Oct half term) (Feb half term / Easter) (Whitsun / Summer)
