We are delighted to inform you, that you have won Gold place in the #GoForGoldChallenge!

Do you remember back in May and June last academic year, you participated in our #GoForGoldChallenge with Dame Kelly Holmes?

Well you only went and clocked up the most miles in the time period and are one of the top 5 in the country. You’ve won yourself an exclusive Olympic Athlete Visit – an opportunity for our ambassadors to share their journeys in sport and allow children the opportunity to reflect on their own aspirations.

You will receive a personalised video from the athlete to the children, an inspirational ‘Olympic Values’ school assembly and a Q&A session with the athlete so children will get their chance to fire questions in a press conference format. An interactive training session is delivered by the athlete as well as classroom visits and an Olympic style awards ceremony.

Where did your school finish?

  1. Scawthorpe Castle Hills Primary School
  2. Catcott Primary School
  3. Meath Green Junior School
  4. Ab Kettleby Community Primary School
  5. Lydiard Millicent C of E Primary School

In a hugely successful campaign, 281 schools and 58,524 pupils participated, with 111,799 miles completed! With obesity and inactivity in young people being one of the biggest challenges facing children, our campaign reached 192 million people, communicating vital messages about increasing the exercise levels of children.

All you need to do is email us at [email protected], and confirm when you would like us to schedule your ambassador visit and we will get the ball rolling.

All the best and congratulations!!
