We thought we would talk about strength this week and tell you about an exciting piece of work that we are doing with British Weight Lifting who are the National Governing Body for this area. We are working with them on a range of strength and conditioning exercises which are relevant for children to do.
There has been lots of research over the years about whether strength training is relevant for children.
Our friends at BWL tell us it’s absolutely fine and that they can use their expert coaches to build us a range of exercises which you can help them do easily at home (you can even join in)!
