Are You Missing a Trick? Maximise the Impact of the Schools Portal!

If you were to ask any business owner in the world; “would you like an online tool to drive your sales, guaranteed to deliver a better service and ‘wow’ your customers... and you can have it FREE OF CHARGE” I think you’d agree, there would be only one answer.

Well that is exactly what the Schools Portal offers you.

Andy Heald will be orientating you around the Schools Portal and demonstrating some recommended strategies at next week’s #NTE16, a session not to be missed!

Our Core Values...

#2: Create wonderfully enjoyable experiences

Holidays are Coming – Prepare to Succeed

Our Inspire to Engage programme has proved very popular over the past 12 months, seeing huge growth:

  • 34% increase in activities delivered
  • 34% increase in attendances
  • 24% increase in children attending activities
  • 40% increase in revenue

However, we don’t want to stop there, with the lucrative Easter and summer periods coming up, it’s imperative your activities are planned, uploaded to the BMS, your Activity Professionals are busy and proving profitable for the company!

Our Core Values...

#3: Deliver “wow” with every interaction

February’s School Newsletter – Yvonne Sets Out Pathway for Success

The second Schools Newsletter of 2016 was distributed to your active schools this week. In this month’s addition we have two articles exclusively written by our Education Consultant Adviser, Yvonne Gandy as well as an update from Andy Heald on this month’s ‘National Quality Review’ findings.

To ensure this newsletter reached your headteachers and PE Coordinators, why not copy the following link and email it to them, including a personalised message from you and your team -

Contract Renewal Time - How to Engage Heads, Teachers & School Leaders

Schools are starting to look at budgets ahead of next year and will be reviewing all provision including you. Questions they will be asking could be: Is there a cheaper option? Are we getting value for money?

It‘s essential to demonstrate the entirety of the services you provide. Gone are the days of just being a coach in schools, we must ensure that we’re sharing the good work and practice that we deliver to all our primary schools. There is no better person placed to do this than the Activity Professional deployed in each school, day by day.

Some quick wins and easy suggestions are to simply print and share lesson plans, print and share pupil assessments and provide schools with half term summaries. You don’t even need to print these off; by far the easiest way to do this is to simply direct teachers and schools online to the Schools Portal. With a click of a button, this is all presented to them.

Norwich Licensee Launches Premier Showdown Promo...

Just like in Darren Plowman’s Performing Arts territory, Premier Showdown liaises with local PE subject leaders and head teachers, helping select and prepare teams for inter-school competitions. Premier Showdown also meets the needs of Ofsted and Sport Premium that suggest more emphasis should be placed on competition.

Premier Showdown offers inclusive opportunities to ‘inspire’ and ‘engage’ students in dance and the arts with the opportunity to feel success through competition. The programme aims to increase child confidence and to develop the ability to win and lose respectfully. Premier Showdown prepares children for competition by introducing rules, skills and confidence building prior to the event which gives children the ability to learn and compete ethically.

Our Core Values...

#9: Remain above the line at all times

Community Venue Hire – National Partner

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve developed a bespoke partnership with School Lettings Solutions (SLS) who are a national facility management company. They have selected Premier Sport to be their preferred provider to deliver all community events at their facilities nationwide.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build further revenue streams as well as keeping your competitors out. Managing Director, Paul Andrews, will be attending day one of this year’s NTE where he’ll have a hot desk allowing you to speak directly to him regarding opportunities in your area.

Join Our Marketing Team - Last Chance!

Following the recent Smith & Henderson Survey, we’re pleased to note the Marketing Support benchmark score has improved by 21% - the biggest positive increase across all the categories.

We’re obviously pleased with the feedback and its testament to the hard work the team have done over the past 12 months to develop this very important area of the business. We also believe the improved communications between head office support and the network has also had a positive impact. But despite the positive result, we still believe there is more work to be done and marketing still seems to be a key area where franchisees require additional training and support, which we recognise and we want to address.

There are a number of opportunities we believe can be implemented very quickly to get this process moving:
