With just over a week since #NTE16, we never anticipated the level of impact the event is already having on your businesses, up and down the country.

Premier sign up to new venture with Sports Direct

In partnership with Sports Direct and Sondico Professional, Premier launched a new online shop allowing parents to order personalised kit, equipment and accessories for Premier activities. We’ll be introducing more items in the coming months as we respond to customer feedback and needs. Parents will be able to access the store when they login to the Family Portal being guided by a new parent landing page which has been created to accommodate the development.

Sports Direct is the UK’s leading sports retailer by revenue and operating profit, and the owner of a significant number of internationally recognised sports and leisure brands. They have a large portfolio of globally recognised sports, fashion and lifestyle brands, including Sondico, Dunlop, Slazenger, Everlast, Lonsdale, Karrimor, Kangol, No Fear and Firetrap. The majority of the apparel will be from the Sondico Professional range which provides parents with a quality and affordable product in a competitive market place.

The Golden Mile Road to Rio Competition

The Golden Mile has created a Road to Rio competition, providing your schools with a solution to engage pupils in the 2016 games in Rio.

The competition will add value to your existing Golden Mile customers as well as supporting schools to increase every pupil’s activity levels. It’s also a great, innovative way for you to engage with new customers by inviting them to take on the Road to Rio challenge.

There are six different challenges in which schools will travel around the world stopping in six different continents to learn about a range of different athletes and sports.

Challenge #1 will be Europe to Africa which is a massive 2415km.
