CATCH UP – Monday’s GoToMeeting - Financial Planning & Price Setting
|
Did you tune into Danny Melling & Steve Girling’s ‘Financial Planning & Price Setting’ session on Monday?
The purpose of the GoToMeeting was to reinforce the importance of price increases. The cost of delivering your product will invariably increase due to wage increases, pension contributions etc, you have two options – increase your prices or make less gross profit!
- Be honest, explain that as a responsible employer, staff welfare and retention is important.
- Demonstrate that the value you provide is still more than the new price, for example: staff may have assisted in others areas, school portal work, additional cover etc.
- And finally, explain but don’t apologise, if you have delivered 1 & 2 effectively they will understand.
|
We also discussed budget setting. Please do this using the three templates below.
