Premier Transition - Activity Professionals have their say...

Last week you heard from franchisees Andy Heald and James Jennison regarding their thoughts on Premier Transition and the pilot training.

This week we hear the thoughts of Activity Professionals, Ross Catchpole and Helen Britten who will both be responsible for implementing the Premier Transition programmes on behalf of their franchise.

The momentum is building... There have been a number of key changes since the pilot training regarding the School Food Plan and the ‘Eatwell Guide’ such as the inclusion of hydration, how to read food labels and eating less red meat, all of which are already included within the Premier Transition programmes.

Five months and counting until the official Premier Transition launch!!

New Activity Professional Widget - Live

Activity Professionals had a new widget go live on their BMS home screen this week, showing assessment statistics. View the widget here.

Activity Professionals will now be able to clearly see:

  • If they are up to date on their assessments
  • What assessments have been carried out
  • Assessment scoring, including an average score for the year
  • Performance compared to previous year
  • 3 Action Points from their last assessment

This should aid with action planning and identifying further CPD requirements. Core Value no.4.

One in and one out...

Today we bid farewell to Francisco who leaves the marketing department for pastured new. Our loss is City College Norwich gain as Fran joins their marketing team. We wish him all the very best.

“I would like to thank you for having the opportunity to work with you over the years and I wish you all well, I hope that your marketing strategies continue to get better every day!”

“Don’t get seduced by the next shiny thing, because you’ll get caught up chasing shiny things and that will keep you from addressing what you really need to accomplish.”

– Joseph V. Tripodi,
chief marketing & commercial officer, Coca-Cola

In next week’s newsletter we’ll introduce Marketing Executive, Gemma Howell. Gemma is the new point of contact for all your Marketing needs within the department.

We welcome Gemma to the team and the process of replacing Fran is well underway.

Award Winning Campaign Set to WOW Customers This Summer...

We can confirm we’ll be working in partnership with Chewits this Whitsun & summer to provide a free day of sport to parents.

Not only did this campaign generate huge brand exposure across the nation, it proved a great opportunity to welcome brand new customers never seen before onto your Inspire to Engage activities. We heard many success stories last summer of franchisees delivering ‘wow’ to these new customers, thus converting into paying customers during the summer and beyond.

We’ll be providing you with more details over the coming weeks, including how parents will secure their free day of sport. We hope to go live with the campaign in early May.

Our Core Values...

#6: Be adventurous, creative and open-minded

If at first you don’t succeed...

‘If at first you don’t succeed; then is another attempt doomed to failure?

‘NO’ is the resounding opinion of Glenn Hoy from Time Associates.

Glenn comments; “We have lots of evidence whereby an initial meeting with a school may not have progressed far past the ‘event’ you provided. Various reasons include; they loved the event but are happy with their current provision, unable to meet with the head, the review meeting could have been better structured and delivered, and so on.
