We are now approaching the finals stage of our CQI (Continual Quality Improvement) process which is where we send out a national survey to 100% of our currently active schools across the country to gauge and gather information on the impact and progress we have achieved this year and to also identify key development areas. Quality Teaching - What final touches can you make to your lessons to be outstanding?

In line with CV #4 - Commit to Continual Improvement - it is essential we are now ‘TAKING ACTION’ if we are to improve the levels of teaching in our lessons. Watch Andy’s recent video blog that will provide you with some ‘quick wins’ to take your lessons to the next level. Please also join Andy on his Goto training session on Monday 16th May 11:30am where he will be going into greater detail and can discuss with you personally how you can make final touches to your lessons as you strive to be outstanding.  Access the Goto Training session here.

Find out what is most important, fit it into your schedule first, and then think about the other less important tasks after

Just say “no”...

You need to learn to say no sometimes. People will expect too much done too quickly if you say yes to everyone, every time, and you’ll end up overwhelmed...

New venues added to SLS...

In the past 12 months we have delivered over 8000 Inspire to Engage sessions, a 48% increase on the previous year with 25% more children attending and increased attendances of 36%, meaning a 44% increase in network revenue! On average the network are charging £2.56 per child per hour for holiday courses! New venues have been added to our partners, School Letting Solutions (SLS). The list of available high schools for holiday courses, birthday parties and evening / weekend sessions can be found below.

Sadiq Khan was voted the Mayor of London last week in the elections, which could prove interesting for the physical activity sector, according to ukactive. Khan has campaigned on strong public health platforms, and healthy living was a cornerstone of his campaign, which highlighted public health to a much greater extent than others.
