Opportunity for Apprentices...

We’re looking for two Premier Apprentices to follow along their Premier Journey, which we will publish in our newsletter at regular intervals. We will require each apprentice to send us a video of themselves, answering various questions we send them about their experiences working as an apprentice with Premier Sport / Performing Arts, every 3 months.

We are excited about this and feel that it will give a great insight into life as a Premier Apprentice, as well as giving the apprentices encouragement and motivation to succeed.

So, if you employ an exceptional apprentice with the following qualities, please get in touch with us to put them forward for this opportunity:

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Available to complete an update on their apprenticeship every 3 months
  • Comfortable/confident with videoing themselves

On completion of this exciting opportunity, the apprentices will receive £100 voucher to spend on any training course! Contact [email protected] by Friday 3rd June 2016 to apply.

“Massive Action” Strategy

New Franchise Champion for Yorks, Humber and North East, Shane Wright shares his ‘Massive Action’ strategy and how his multi territory business will achieve ‘Going for Gold’ £1m club within 5 years...

The actions Shane has taken as a result of the 100 Club event and the GoTo last week include:

  • Moving from casual to minimum 16 hour per week contract from September and raising basic wage to £10 per hour. This should help to retain strong staff, and is a more attractive package to get better new starters. This can also be written in to new job roles updating the BMS, helping with HC promo etc.
  • Planned a follow up ‘On the Bus’ training for May half-term to introduce changes and to start to weed out the people we don’t think buy in to the Core Values. All casual staff will have to re-apply for fixed contract jobs over the summer and justify why/how they can help us to achieve our goal
  • Revamped our business plan geared towards reaching the £1 million mark in 5 years. Based around increasing penetration and average school spend. Senior management team have the task of selling 1 new event per week starting from today.

What are your ‘Massive Action’ stories?

Our Core Values...

#6: Be adventurous, creative and open-minded

Core Value #9 – “Remain above the line at all times”

Core Value of the week is number 9 – “remain above the line at all times” – something that should come naturally to any PEG professional!

It’s about going the extra mile to deliver “wow” with every interaction, excellent customer service, and continual professional and personal improvement. If you have a strong passion for your business, you will want to remain above the line at all times, continuing to strive for excellence. But what are the main types of “above the line” behaviour?

  1. Ownership – making things happen, rather than expecting them to happen because you feel entitled to them
  2. Responsibility – finding positive solutions to problems without dwelling on negatives, and taking personal responsibility for your success
  3. Accountability – being willing to take responsibility for your actions – everyone makes mistakes sometimes, and admitting them is essential for creating solutions

Remaining above the line is also down to your overall attitude. Having a positive attitude allows you to be the best version of yourself – something you should always aim for. Having a particularly stressful day or situation? Think to yourself – what/how would the best version of myself act in this situation? If you act in this way, then it will rub off on others and inspire them to remain above the line too!

Our Core Values...

#7: Nurture strong relationships through excellent communication
