Without you, we’re stuck!

Here at head office, we are doing some exciting work on the customer holiday course journey, but we need to ask a TINY favour from you - can you upload your courses for the next 12 months? In order for the new journey to be as effective as possible, we need to use YOUR dates to contact YOUR parents – simple, really.

All you have to do is upload by Friday 12th August and we’ll do the rest.

Thanks in advance!

Premier Apprentice Video Diary #1

We are excited to share with you the first video diary entries from the two apprentices we are following along their Premier journeys.

Premier Sport apprentice Lee Baldwin and Premier Performing Arts apprentice Joanna Hunt have submitted their videos, detailing the courses they are enrolled on, what they have enjoyed, the challenges they have encountered, and advice for other new Premier apprentices. Take a look at their videos – we think they give a great insight into what life is like as a Premier apprentice, and are great examples of what it takes to join our positive and passionate team. Stay tuned for their second video diary entries!

Show your support for Premier Charity Champion...

Premier franchisee Gareth Simpson is a Charity Champion for the Sports Connections Foundation. On Sunday 21st August 2016 he is organising a sponsored cycle at David Lloyd gym in Cambridge to fund a ‘Sporting Wish’ - which are unforgettable sporting experiences for vulnerable, disadvantaged or seriously ill children. Such experiences include full pit access at Formula 1 races, training with Olympians and spending a day meeting the players of their favourite Premiership team at their training ground.

On average, a sporting wish costs £1500 and the aim is to raise enough money to fund at least two experiences.

Here are a few ways you can show your support...

Traineeship provides perfecting stepping stone in to an Apprenticeship...

Onur Kent will begin his apprenticeship as an Activity Professional in September with Premier Sport (Hackney) after a successful 3 month Traineeship in the territory. After completing two interviews in March, Onur was offered the chance to shadow and work with other Activity Professionals with the prospect of an apprenticeship, if successful. Franchisee Michael Johnson said:

“Throughout his Traineeship, Onur was able to experience lunchtime sessions and after school clubs, as well as curricular cover - this gave him an opportunity to look at us, and for us to see him in action. He acquitted himself very well and as a result of the feedback that I received about him, I was happy to offer him a post in September. Onur will now undertake the necessary training via CSL and it is my hope that he will fulfil the potential that he has already shown”.

Are you concerned about the safety and wellbeing of a child?

Safeguarding is an essential responsibility for all employees at Premier Education Group. It involves protecting all children as well as promoting the safety, health and wellbeing of all.

Under the Children Act 2004, organisations have a duty of responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Schools and Local Authorities have similar duties under the Education Act 2002, section 175.

Over the Summer we have had some Safeguarding issues arise; to refresh your memory please see Premier Education Group’s Child Protection & Safeguarding Policy.

If staff have any suspicion that a child is being abused, please refer to your copy of the Child Protection & Safeguarding Policy or if you wish to speak to someone about a safeguarding concern, please contact Premier Education Group’s Designated Officers: Steve Eastaugh or Nicole Heuston on 01953 499 040.

Premier Education Group will continue to build on the ability we have to ensure that everyone is safeguarded.
