Change4Life Packs Have Been Dispatched!

As you now know, we are supporting 10 Minute Shake Ups from Change4Life with Disney, to help encourage children to do bursts of 10 minute activity on our holiday courses this Summer. You should receive your packs in the next 5-7 working days.

In this pack, you will find everything you need to support the 10 Minute Shake Ups campaign and inspire families to get active:

Empty belly posters (A4) to promote your event, including details of where and when it’s happening.
Passport pack, which includes six 10 Minute Shake Ups that you can use to get kids up and active at your event.

Change4Life 10 Minute Shake Ups Coming to YOUR Holiday Camps!

We’re super excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with Change4Life to deliver their 10 Minute Shake Ups at all of our holiday camps this Summer!

This means Premier will be the largest provider of Change4Life activities across England - a major public health campaign for this Summer! Change4Life and Public Health England will be showcasing the work you deliver, shining a light on Premier being the leading Change4Life kids activity deliverer!

As part of this, you will receive a prominent space on the NHS website - emphasising the health and wellbeing benefits of Premier’s courses, and reaching a new audience who may not of heard of Premier before.

By delivering the 10 Minute Shake Up at your holiday camps, you will receive assets to promote all of your Summer sessions, including the use of Disney characters free of charge, which will be sent to an appropriate location for you to use.

We recommend that the children complete the 10 minute sessions daily within holiday courses, as part of a warm up each morning after registration.

As the Change4Life programme evolves and likely has a role beyond the Summer, we will be in a great place to take a strategic role in being central to the developed programme. ukactive will champion our role on Change4Life in relevant discussions with PHE and other stakeholders.

We are sure you»re as excited as we are to be involved in such a great initiative, with a brilliant link to the NHS.

What?

We’ve got a full day packed with guest speakers, including Damian Hughes (author of 5 Steps to a Winning Mindset) and Chris Brindley (Chairman of Greater Sport Manchester and former MD at Metrobank), and live social competitions, followed by a glitzy awards ceremony and drinks in Manchester!

King’s House Conference Centre, Sidney Street, Manchester, M1 7HB.

How?

We’re offering tickets at a massively reduced rate - the worth of an individual ticket is £150 which Premier are part funding at least 50% towards your attendance! We are offering an early bird rate at just £40 per person with a saving of £110 - this is valid until Sunday 20th August 2017.

Last week we gave you some suggestions on how you can support the Foundation on their journey to help disadvantaged and disengaged young people in your community, now is the time to share your plans so we can promote your activities.
