Sport England ‘Active Lives’ Survey

Please click here to access a summary from the recently published ‘Active Lives’ survey by Sport England.

Premier Wellbeing is the perfect solution for Sport England’s 'Active Lives' survey! The results and data prove that our Premier Wellbeing and Performing Arts licences are the perfect complement to our Premier Sport business!

How can you use this data to increase the amount of sessions you deliver for adults (and children) in your business?

Fitness and circuit sessions (Fit-Trition) are popular, as too are evening Dance classes and team sports. Have you ever thought about adding 2 x Fit-Trition sessions on for parents each day during half -term? One hour after drop off and one hour before pick up? 12 parents attending each class at £4.50 per class would give you a net income of £450 per camp - for just 10 hours of delivery! Furthermore, this is providing a brilliant service for your customers. These stats from Sport England prove they want it!

PE and School Sport Funding

The Department for Education have today released the following guidance on the doubling of the PE & School Sport funding - www.gov.uk/government/publications/pe-and-sport-premium-funding-allocations-for-2017-to-2018

Here you can view ‘PE and Sport Premium Funding’ where we have put together some summary points for franchisees, please be sure to read the full guidance so that you can support and educate your staff & schools.

Over the coming days and weeks, we will be providing further resources and guidance on how you can utilise Premier’s USPs to support schools to get maximum impact from the increase.

For the remainder of this week we suggest you sit down and create a thorough sales and communications plan to:

  1. Upsell to Existing schools - Arrange a review meeting to share the guidance and our school brochure to choose the best programmes to support the school.
  2. Re-engagement plan - Contact all previous schools who no longer work with you due to budgets or other provision. Now the funding has doubled they will have funds to buy our services which other providers won’t be able to offer.
  3. Engage brand new schools - Using the British fencing initiative to give away sessions to 1,000 new schools, it’s a great way to get into new schools by sharing our world record video and offering a taster session from British Fencings official Primary School delivery partner.

Play-Trition and Fit-Trition at your holiday camps!

Now that we have introduced the NEW Premier Camps, we thought we would explain a little bit more about what additional revenue streams you can add through Play-Trition and Fit-Trition at your camps.

By offering Fit-Trition on drop off and pick up for your parents, it’s a great opportunity to add additional revenue without any additional overhead! We have designed an example graph below...

8am 9am - 12pm 12pm - 1pm 1pm - 4pm 4pm - 4:15pm 4pm - 5:30pm 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Drop Off / Games Morning Activities (Sport & Performing Arts) Lunch / Games (Sport & Performing Arts) Afternoon Activities (Sport & Performing Arts) Standard Day Pick Up (Sport & Performing Arts) Arts & Crafts (Sport & Performing Arts) Extended Day Pick Up (Sport & Performing Arts)
Fit-Trition for Parents (Optional)           Fit-Trition for Parents (Optional)
Play-Trition for Younger Siblings (Optional)

Using the above timetable as a guide, you can ADD the additional revenue to your bottom line...

Fit-Trition - 15 parents paying £4 per session (drop off) = £60

Fit-Trition - 15 parents paying £4 per session (pick up) = £60

Play-Trition - 10 children paying £4 per session (drop off) = £40

That’s an additional £160 per day with no additional overhead!

New Balance Fitting Day

This week we hosted some excited Activity Professionals at New Balance’s UK headquarters for their first look at our new Activity Professional kit which will be arriving in January. The day provided the opportunity to try on the garments for size - the ones you are purchasing will be Navy, and have Premier branding on the left chest.

It was fantastic to hear the first impressions from our Activity Professionals - “It looks so professional, I’d be really happy to go into schools in a kit like this, feeling good, ready for a new day!”

Remember...

The pre-order window closes November 5th. Don’t miss out!
