New research has been released this week assessing the performance of the school sport and PE premium to-date.

The research shows nine out of 10 primary schools have improved the quality of PE lessons since the introduction of the premium. Furthermore, 96% of schools reported improvements in pupils’ physical fitness, 93% saw improvements in behaviour, and 96% thought the funding had contributed to a healthier lifestyle for their pupils

Karl Fox presented on Tony’s behalf at a partnership meeting with a number of schools signing up for paid Base Line Measurement days as well as requesting further information on PLAY Active Clubs.

Franchisees, Andrew Joinson and Peter Mullane enjoyed a very busy summer on their Chewits Sports Courses in Sussex.

They had over 1000 children attend with an average of 50 children per course including seven full courses. Three of these courses had 80 children booked with many more children on a waiting list which is a great achievement. The most pleasing statistic for them was 85% of all courses were fully booked across the summer.
