Introducing new franchisee - Vince Gordon

Vince lives in Kings Heath, Birmingham with his wife and young son.  He launched in the Kings Heath franchise territory in September after first making contact with Premier Sport in April.

For 25 years Vince has been involved with the development and training of young people in the local community.  He’s passionate about seeing young people achieve their potential and has held a variety of roles throughout his career to help achieve this outcome.

A Premier Sport franchisee found himself in a bizarre situation last month and had to rely on the strength of his non compete agreement to resolve it.

Upon receiving notice that one of his Activity Professionals was emigrating to start a new life down under, the franchisee did what any responsible employer would do organising notice periods, handover and leaving party with all his employees.

Andy judged ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted

Premier Sport’s National Coach and Training Development Officer, Andy Heald unexpectedly covered a PE lesson and found himself being observed by Ofsted inspectors – the decision to go ahead with the PE lesson proved to be an ‘outstanding’ one by the Head Teacher.

At the end of the summer term, Operations Director Danny Melling attended an end of year ‘celebration evening’ along with some of his coaching staff and teachers from the school where their office is based. 24 people attended each paying £25 per head for the privilege.

Upcoming Premier Performing Arts Activity Professional Induction Workshop

The upcoming Premier Performing Arts Activity Professional Induction Workshop will cover a mini Bronze product orientation in the morning and then practical workshops in the afternoon. The workshop will explore new and exciting ideas for curricular and extracurricular clubs including street dance and cheerleading. All candidates must be in full Performing Arts kit.
