New Automated Parent Emails - Live!

We presented the new automated parent emails to your Regional Champions a few weeks back and have now completed the final amends, based on their feedback.

This series of targeted emails will increase your conversion rates, save you time and reduce your marketing efforts across your business. They are completely personalised to you and your customers based on the information held within the BMS and what you’ve supplied us, upon request.

Within the guidance below, we’ve highlighted the sections in red that you need to be aware of. There are two sections you need to pay close attention to as these sections feed directly from the information you input on the BMS. These fields will need to be populated for every course, if you wish for information to be seen by your customers.

Your distribution list feeds directly from the BMS and it’s updated in real time, meaning you don’t have to do a thing!

This series of seven emails are set to go live in within the next seven days.

School Agrees to Settle Out of Court

A Premier Sport franchisee was faced with the horrible situation of one of his schools ceasing work with him last summer and attempting to employ his Activity Professional directly.

A Service Level Agreement was in place with the school and a Non Compete Agreement with the employee, however despite making both parties aware of the restrictive covenants in place, neither decided to heed our advice and proceeded with his direct employment anyway.

With the support of our Skills & Compliance department and our legal advisors, we made a case against the school, to which they decided to settle out of court for a sizeable fee. Our franchisee was then able to re-invest in the recruitment process and a period of time to secure new business to make up the shortfall.

For this very reason it is imperative you have Service Level Agreements in place with ALL your schools and Non Compete Agreements or Deeds of Confidentiality in place for your staff to adequately protect you and your business.

#3: Deliver “wow” with every interaction

Rio 2016 Brand Protection Guidelines - Be In The Know...

As you will recall from London 2012, there are lots of restrictions on what we and can’t refer to with our activities.

Our lawyers have looked through the lengthy guidelines document and this indicates we cannot even refer directly to “Rio 2016”, although it does not list “Road to Rio” as a protected phrase. The word “Olympics” and use of the logo are definitely protected.

Below is an extract from the guidelines document. It also warns against ambush marketing.

“In addition to the protected logos and symbols, there are a number of expressions and designations registered in the name of the IOC, IPC and Rio 2016, such as: ‘Olympic Games’, ‘Paralympic Games’, ‘Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games’, ‘Rio 2016 Games’, ‘Rio 2016’, ‘Rio Olympiad’, ‘Rio 2016 Olympiad’,‘XXXI Olympic Games', among others, as well as their variations and translations.”

Facebook Post Goes Viral

When Marketing Executive, Jasmine Gale posting a picture of fruit on the central Facebook page, none of us could’ve predicted the reaction it received on social media.

The picture, with a simple caption, ‘Who else thinks they should have this available in all schools?’ soon went viral capturing the imagination on our 5056 ‘Friends’. Here’s the impact –

  • An incredible 1500 ‘likes’
  • 54 ‘comments’
  • 100 ‘shares’
  • ‘Reaching’ 40,000 people.

Jasmine didn’t predict this type of impact but she did say, ‘parents love a picture of fruit’ before posting, so she deserves all the credit!

Last Chance to Book - Business Booster Day, Tues 8th Dec

Last month over 30 people from our 100 Club businesses attended a networking event and shared success stories to help push their business forward. Given the level of impact that business owners took from the event, it was recommended that the whole network would benefit from the same information.

With that in mind, we’re hosting this session again on Tues 8th December at the Lea Marston Hotel, from 9am – 3pm. Places are limited to two per franchise.

Premier Sport will contribute 35% towards each booking, meaning that the cost is just £30 per person.

What Are 100 Meetings Worth?

Possibly £0 but top franchisee, Danny Bloomfield sends his team out with the attitude that they could be worth £50,000 each. In reality, at a lower than average school spend of £5,000 per year, this would be in the region of £500,000.

Whatever the maths and conversion levels, zero meetings equals £0 income.
