Premier Sport

Premier Sport is the UK’s largest children’s coaching company. We support schools and teachers in their curriculum delivery and provide parents with an invaluable service before, during, afterschool and throughout holiday periods. To give you a better idea of our coverage in the UK, in the 2013 - 14 school year, we had over 7.4 million visits for an hour of activity. This is the equivalent of EVERY primary school pupil in the UK doing 1 hour of physical activity.

Since our inception in 1999, Premier Sport has strived to push the boundaries of what excellent sport and physical education looks like.

NEW - introducing our new holiday time programme

We’re very pleased to announce Premier Sport have a brand new holiday programme for children and schools to enjoy. Our new ‘Inspire to Engage’ holiday programme has been developed to ensure children of all abilities learn the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle, whilst having fun with friends during school holidays.

Courses run throughout all holiday periods, can be parent or school funded, with all bookings being channelled through our simple online system.

Our guarantee – Schools Portal will provide you with pupil attainment & impact measurements

An example of Premier Sport’s unique online Schools Portal is the attainment records of each child in curricular activities. The online portal will tell you (& teaching staff) which children are working at what level. We’ll then work with you and your teaching staff to analyse this data and recommend potential solutions to support individual pupils using our INSPIRE Programme. An example of this would be, if in a class of children, five are deemed ‘emergent’ after the Autumn 1 term, the unique Schools Portal will highlight this and our Premier team we’ll raise this with you.

We can then use our suite of INSPIRE products to recommend PLAY Active sessions and agree impact measurements using an ‘impact grid’. For children that are ‘exceeding’, we’ll discuss specific pathways for the gifted and talented.

Thank you to all our Premier Sport partner schools who took part in our recent customer satisfaction survey. Over 250 schools provided feedback and commentary on the service we provide and the result of which were very pleasing indeed. Survey Summary 97% of our partner schools said the overall effectiveness of the service we provide is good or outstanding. 94% of partner schools said ‘good or outstanding’ when we asked them to rate if our curriculum and lesson delivery met pupil’s needs. 91% of partner schools rated the teaching quality of our PE and sport as good or outstanding.
