The Golden Mile with Kelly Holmes!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Dame Kelly Holmes has been representing The Golden Mile recently, on Sky Sunrise, BBC, and The Chris Evans Breakfast Show – to name just a few – explaining the benefits of getting children more active and healthy.

As part of the campaign, we are offering the chance for parents and teachers to nominate their child’s/their school to receive access to the Golden Mile and all its benefits absolutely free of charge.

By nominating a school, parents and teachers will be in with the chance to win an ambassador visit, or a free day of sport for the school. So what are you waiting for? Hear what Dame Kelly Holmes has to say, and nominate your school today...

Your opinion counts!

It’s the time of year where we complete our annual quality and impact review of area school provision

We hope you have had great break over half term and have come back to school refreshed and ready for this last part of the academic year.

Premier Education Group’s (PEG) desire to improve is engrained into everything that we do. We strive to improve and develop all our school based PE & school sport programmes, including their management and delivery. This supports high standards and delivering consistent quality outcomes for young people in schools.

We do this through a very thorough and ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process. This process has many different elements and is supported by our external advisors. The diagram below explains the process further;

As highlighted in stage 4 of the diagram, all schools we work with, across the country, are being asked to complete the online questionnaire. So we would like to politely ask you to complete this simple survey based on the provision you have received from Premier Education Group this year. Your PEG Area lead will provide more information if you require it.

The CQI process has been underpinned by elements of the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework (CiF). The process is not solely about the performance management of Activity Professionals; it’s how we support our individual Area Leaders and, with the data we gather, how this then supports an overall national view for CQI.

Thank you.

Have you heard about our wellbeing programmes?

Premier Transition aims to inspire healthy changes that have a positive impact on the lives of children, parents and the wider community. Their programmes don’t just provide children with the facts; they inspire and develop a ‘whole school approach’ which extends to school caterers, teachers, parents, friends and families.

Premier Transition programmes also support schools in delivering on the health and well-being agenda which over time will lead to better pupil behaviour, attendance and improved academic achievement.
