Premier Sport is the UK's largest children's PE & physical activity provider of its kind, with over 5 million visits per year and employed by thousands of schools nationwide to deliver PE enrichment within their curriculum.
Because of this extensive network, we adhere to Sports Coach UK's Minimum Standards of Deployment and have developed industry leading Minimum Operating Standards (MOS) which expand on these. Teachers can be confident that all Premier Sport staff working in schools have the correct, relevant certification and qualifications.
This year we even put our coaching team to the test with curriculum observations carried out by qualified Ofsted inspectors to assess our delivery throughout the UK. The results of which have helped develop our training and development programme and ensure that we are delivering to the highest possible standards.
We are also a founding member of COMPASS, which has been formed to act as a self-regulatory trade association for any sport and activity provider that works in a school environment.
Finally, we have a unique fit for purpose insurance policy, providing comprehensive cover which meets all the required operating standards for working in schools and with young people. Unlike many, we don't use insurance designed for the volunteer sector which may not be applicable for 'professional' deliverers.
Such stringent standards have helped us to become the first choice provider for over two thousand primary schools every week across the UK.
