Premier Sport is the UK's largest coaching company, delivering PE and physical activity to over 2,000 schools every week. We have been providing sustainable solutions that meet the needs of schools PE, Sport and Physical Activity since 1999, using proven systems, processes and controls that ensure pupils receive the greatest impact and highest level of care available.

The National Curriculum
One of Premier Sport's primary objectives is delivery and enhancement of the National Curriculum for PE.
Our aim has been to create a fully rounded programme which works in close partnership with school leaders and teachers, finding the best way to inspire their children and to provide them with opportunities to learn and make progress. We supply a structured planning framework with specific learning outcomes across all curriculum PE topic areas.

Not just sporty children benefit from the excellent provision of our 500+ professionals already deployed in schools across the UK, we are now Inspiring the non-sporty via physical activity and play - giving more young people the chance to be and stay active.
Inspire is backed by state of the art technology that helps measure pupil progress and achievement, based on agreed outcomes with each school (a requirement of the sport premium funding). This allows teaching staff to measure progress at the click of a button and they can even allow parents access to that information if they wish.
It also reduces administration for schools, as all Physical Activity & Sport planned in the school can be displayed for parents to view, meaning all measurements of the new sport premium funding announced by the government are delivered.
However, it is the programme delivery which is the most inspirational aspect. The programme offers a journey of lifelong learning opportunities and engages all children from sporty to non sporty via our breadth of physical activity and sporting sessions. |
Led by Industry leading experts
Our programmes have been developed with industry leading experts, including Yvonne Gandy of YMG Education. A former teacher, senior leader, advisor, OFSTED inspector, author and independent consultant, Yvonne is passionate about education and its relevance to young people's learning. Having worked for the Association of Physical Education, the Youth Sport Trust, Sports Coach UK, and Sport England amongst others, Yvonne brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise which is transferred to our professional coaching staff.

Premier Sport is a founding member of COMPASS. COMPASS is a self-regulatory trade association for any sport and activity provider that works in a school environment. Members include responsible organisations from the private, public and charitable sector who deliver Physical Activity & School Sport.
Whoever you choose as an external provider to deliver your school sport - please ensure they are members of COMPASS. |
It's also worth noting, because of our extensive network, we adhere to Sports Coach UK's Minimum Standards of Deployment and have developed industry leading Minimum Operating Standards (MOS) which expand on these. Teachers can be confident that all Premier Sport staff working in schools have the correct, relevant certification and qualifications.
