Complete our Skills survey to stand a chance of winning an iPad

Premier Education Group (PEG) is delighted to announce that Steve Mitchell will be joining our team in an advisory consultant role for the Skills and Compliance department. As part of Steve’s new role, he would like to carry out a Skills audit survey across the network for all stakeholders.

The purpose of this survey is to assess your qualifications in line with aspirations and in the process highlight any gaps in the two. We can then use this information to design programmes for you in the future.

We would appreciate if you could spare only five minutes to complete this short survey. If you complete the survey, you’ll stand a chance of winning an iPad*.

PEG Online Training Platform **Live**

We’re pleased to share with you the launch of our brand new PEG online training platform. Over time we will be phasing in a number of training opportunities including induction and core training modules.

First to be launched is our new bespoke course, Safeguarding & Protecting Children and Vulnerable People.

This e-learning resource aims to meet statutory training requirements for minimum operating standards, so that your line manager can be assured that you are up-to-date with practises around Child Protection and is available to purchase from the online store at a new lower cost of £20.00.

We will update the network as new modules become live.

Activity Professional Excellence Award - and the winner is...

We are very close to announcing our first year’s annual Premier Business Awards. One of the awards up for grabs is the Activity Professional Excellence Award. Awarded to two Activity Professionals from the Premier Education Group network through nominations and positive feedback from your line manager, schools and our parent network.

We will contact your line manager in the next couple of weeks if you have won an award. If you’re a winner, you will be invited to our 2014 National Training Event in February.

Good Luck!

Only 2 weeks left to be assessed – book your assessment in NOW!

The end of the first term is only 2 weeks away so time is fast running out for you to be assessed by your line manager.

This term, only half of the Activity Professional network has been assessed. As a result of this, the other half remains unaware of their performance and areas for improvement within their delivery.

If you haven’t been assessed ask your line manager NOW!

Once you have been assessed, our new 2015 training programme will then allow your line manager to book your CDP for 2015.

At the beginning of November we asked the 1000s of schools we deliver PE and Sport in to complete a short survey. We’ve been overwhelmed by the number of schools that have completed the survey and the results so far.

Schools have until Friday 19th December to compete the survey but here’s one stat we couldn’t wait to share with you -

96% of schools have rated overall effectiveness of the service provided as outstanding or good.

Suffolk children set for gold with nationwide fitness initiative

170 children from Grundisburgh Primary School in Suffolk have taken their first golden steps within the safety of their own school grounds after launching a successful national physical activity initiative called The Golden Mile.

To promote the benefits of regular physical activity and in conjunction with Premier Sport, the school has set the children a challenge for every child to walk, jog or run the two laps daily to ensure every pupil completes 50 miles of physical activity over the school year.
