Premier Education Group 100 Club

As part of Premier Education Group's engagement programme, this month sees the launch of the 2013/14 100 Club. The aim of the 100 Club is to celebrate and reward the achievements of performing franchisees and to inspire others to achieve top flight status within the organisation.

Entry to the club is awarded upon achieving £100,000 turnover. This reward will be increased as the franchisee grows in turnover to £250,000 and £500,000. Qualification is made by a review of figures input on the BMS; these figures are then verified by your submitted accounts.

Alongside the recognition the 100 Club will bring, being a member you will receive:

  • 100 Club Plaque
  • 100 Club Pin Badge
  • A free place on the induction programme
  • % discount on the purchase of further territories

Young mum takes on the challenge of running her own business...

Kirstin Macare, a young mum of two from Norfolk is combining her passion for the Arts with her dedication to providing high quality dance coaching across schools and their surrounding community in East Norfolk.

Kirstin's academic background includes a BTEC in Performing Arts and BA HONS in Drama and Theatre Arts. During Kirstin's studies is where she developed a keen interest in contemporary dance, choreography, performance and workshop leading.

Her educational strengths include working as a special educational needs teaching assistant for 4 years. Previous to this she worked with social services, developing confidence, independence and offering support to young people who were leaving care. Both of these roles required patience and a firm knowledge of children and young people's learning techniques.

Mixed experience for our ‘Secret Shopper’

During all holiday periods our independent ‘Secret Shopper’ has been visiting Chewits Sport Courses around the UK.

The past few reports have been extremely positive and a testament to the work that you've been doing. Unfortunately this week one particular course was woefully inadequate, which will surely impact on the customer experience at that venue and their future business.

A neighbouring territory had an outstanding report during the same week and a very busy course. As the number of territories available diminishes, the need for consistency across the board needs to be at the forefront of your mind.

You are not being judged as individual businesses, but as Premier Sport and what your neighbour does or doesn't do is a reflection on you. It is also worth putting into perspective the legal ramifications of non compliance, with businesses liable for any reputational and financial losses incurred as the results of non compliance.

We would like to reiterate that the majority of our visits have been very positive and if you have any doubts about how holiday activities should be delivered, from the marketing through to the set up and activity on the day, then please refer to your manuals and the Holiday Camp assessments.

Performing Arts this half term

Premier Performing Arts licensee Kirstin Macare, has this week been delivering a brand new holiday club at Framingham Earl Community Sports Centre in East Norfolk. The club saw 30 children enjoying an action packed day of activities. The afternoon was spent designing costumes & exploring movement on the theme ‘Animals in Africa’.

“It was a brilliant opportunity for children to experience an introduction to the Arts Award. The success of this has meant that the sports centre has asked us to run it for longer during the Easter Holidays allowing us to deliver a fuller Arts Award package & help children achieve their Discover Award.”
