This week the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on a Fit and Healthy Childhood released a report on how physical education is delivered to children in the UK.

The report argues that there needs to be a culture change in the value placed upon Physical Education by government; a change in the way in which teachers are trained at early years, primary and secondary levels; and continuing professional development must be provided for in-service teachers. The report then outlines a number of policy recommendations.

Tell us why?

We’re calling on your Activity Professionals to tell us why they are #morethanacoach by submitting a very short video to [email protected]. Check out the video below to give you a better idea.

All we need from you is get your Activity Professionals to send a short video clip explaining what makes them more than a coach. For example: “I’m Gemma from Premier Sport in Norwich. I’m more than a coach because I am passionate about inspiring the next generation.”

They will need to end the video by saying “I’m more than a coach - I’m a Premier Activity Professional.”

London Coach of the Year Awards – Nominate your #morethanacoach

Calling all London franchisees, the deadline is fast approaching to nominate your coaches for this year’s London Sports Awards.

The Coach of the Year award acknowledges the work of individuals who have created an inspiring environment for Londoners to achieve their potential in physical activity and sport.

Nominations for Coach of the Year should:

Have created a motivating, inspiring environment, above and beyond expectation, to get the best out of people taking part, and encourage more people to get involved
Be seen as an outstanding role model
Have demonstrated a commitment to developing their knowledge and skill in coaching

Activity Professionals delivering our Core Values day after day, means they are achieving all the nomination criteria above. So, what are you waiting for, get nominating!

Closing date for nominations is Sunday 30th October 2016

Exciting Changes to the Customer Journey...

We are really excited to present to you Premier Education Group’s new Customer journey!

Gemma & Frankie are working on a number of improvements and elements of WOW that can be added to the customer journey and the exciting thing is, we have already made a start!

You will notice that the parent automated emails have been rewritten to include our company Core Values, positive parent feedback and gifts for the customer such as ‘Healthy Lifestyle Guides’, child & parent activities and videos.

We have also started a blog that parents can access on a daily basis through social media, website and via email communications. You can access our first one here.

The important thing is, we are starting to work and engage with our customers on a local level, it’s not all about SELL SELL SELL, it’s about how we can build a relationship with our customers to drive your business forward!!

Frankie’s Day With Jon and Chris!

It’s over to Frankie Worthington to explain... “A couple of weeks ago, I had a day with Franchisees, Jon Mills & Chris Pipe, who wanted to drive their sales journey, create a unique schools journey prior to ‘the meeting’ and naturally increase sales across their PEG company... and guess what? Setting up your sessions, are they delivering the WOW factor?

Premier Education Group wants all children to benefit from a fun and educational experience whilst participating in the activities we provide. It is important that Activity Professionals are prepared for every session prior to its commencement. When setting up sessions & activities it is imperative to consider the main reasons that a specific area is created for children to participate in physical activity.

Are you delivering WOW during your sessions? Activity Professionals must be aware of and must adhere to the guidelines provided within their manual on ‘Set Up’.
