Important Updates to Camp Literature...

In order to ensure we are providing the appropriate range of literature for the franchisee network, we have added new options for you to purchase.

We have taken the decision, based on feedback from the network, to add a Generic DL for the Christmas Holiday. This will have the same specifications as the Themed DL’s but won’t be focused on Christmas, meaning it’s the perfect piece of literature to distribute in schools or areas with sensitive policies on themed events. It will also encompass the two age groups, allowing you to advertise to both groups on one leaflet.

Additionally, we have designed two templates for bespoke literature. These templates have consistent branding and clear, powerful calls to action throughout. There are two options available - A5 2 Printed Pages, and A4 2 Printed Pages, which folds to create 4 A5 Pages. These templates for bespoke literature are a positive step toward brand consistency across the network. One of the drivers for removing bespoke literature from the shop was the levels of inconsistency from one territory to the next. While we appreciate that as franchisees, you need to promote your activities in your local area, we have a responsibility to protect the Premier brand.

The bespoke literature allows you to include more information including start dates, venues, activities on offer etc. However, we will not be accepting job request forms for completely bespoke jobs.

To order your bespoke literature:

  1. Log onto the BMS (Resources > Marketing) to download your Job Request Form
  2. Complete your Job Request Form and email to [email protected]
  3. Your bespoke leaflets will then be designed - please allow up to 2 weeks for this.
  4. Once designed, you will be sent a proof for approval.
  5. If approved, you can then complete the purchase of these here.
If amendments are required, these will be made at your request (£15 per set).
  6. On this page, you will need to pay for the printing of the leaflets as well as the design (£30 per hour) and amendments (£15 per set).
  7. This will then be scheduled for print and be delivered to you in 3-5 working days.
  8. We have made this process simpler and more efficient than ever. If you have any questions regarding literature, please direct them to [email protected]

Partnerships Update...

It was great to see so many of you back in August at the Franchisee day where Jane Hannah introduced herself and the importance of Partnerships, especially those with CSPs. We therefore wanted to share the below which has gone from Sport England to all CSPs in relation to the new Active Lives Survey for children and Young People (for more info see here). The process is that every CSP has been given a randomly selected sample of schools in their area which they need to work with to ensure the school conducts the survey with their pupils.

This is a great communication for us all because Sport England are naming us which will really help everyone to build relationships locally, remember we talked about showing how we add value to what a CSP is trying to do? This is a perfect way we can do this with no extra work as you will inevitably be working in schools which are on the list to conduct the survey, and you can therefore advocate the survey in the school on behalf of the CSP. This is a great way to get your foot in the door with the CSP to then have further conversations.

Jane has already had one CSP contact her and its only just gone out! We are therefore letting you know that when we get an enquiry we will send an e mail to you and the CSP and leave you to collaborate locally. Please remember CSPs are a great partner that we want saying good things about us because this will drive you more revenue locally. Please make use of the below to be pro-active and contact your CSP.

How do Sport England recommend we approach schools with whom we have no prior relationship?

Contact details for each school are included within the list of randomly selected schools provided to each CSP. However, school recruitment will be more effective when CSPs make direct contact with a key decision maker.

Sport England recommend CSPs make use of existing networks, and relationships with partners, to obtain an introduction to a key decision maker in the school. Premier (currently working in 15% of primary schools) has offered to assist CSPs with this where needed.

If you would like to obtain the relevant contact for your area and find out which schools Premier could help with, please contact Jane Hannah for further information.
