In last week’s News Update we shared with you Ofsted’s new 2015-16 Handbook for Inspecting Schools. We would again urge you to read this document in great detail.

Over the next few News Updates, we’ll highlight key areas you should be aware of before you and your team begin delivering in September.

We sent out over 100 letters last week to the schools/councils that are STILL paying monies into our old bank account or via cheque. For those of you that haven’t spoken to your schools/council, please hand them the attached letter ASAP. This will increase the time it takes us to pay you.

We’ve had over one million attendances on our after school Inspire programme in the last year – that’s up 55% compared to the year leading up to the introduction of the school sport premium funding.

In next week’s News Update, Skills & Compliance will release the new Training Framework for Activity Professionals.

This new resource gives a clear overview of the training journey and opportunities for the Activity Professional network, including minimum operating standards, qualification framework for Premier Sport and Premier Performing Arts, traineeships, apprenticeships and the Premier Passport.

In the past 12 months we’ve had 206,313 unique users visit our PEG websites.

We’ve had 6,201,684 visits on our ‘Inspire to Achieve’ curriculum lessons in the past 12 month – that’s an increase of 138% compared to the year leading up to the introduction of the school sport premium funding.

The booking deadline is Friday 17th July to book onto the next CIM Social Media course at PEG HQ (Monday 14th September).

In the 2014 school survey, 65% of schools stated they would continue to invest with Premier Sport even if the school sport premium funding was to end.

Premier Performing Arts extracurricular courses are up by 80% this term compared to last year demonstrating a continuous growth mindset amongst our licensees.

This year, Change4Life and Disney are back, working with ukactive to encourage families and kids to team up to shake up with their favourite Disney characters!

Each year ukactive’s role is to generate a search engine of summer events for children and their families to participate in for free, so, this year we’ve included our summer venues to this Change4Life search engine.

Glenn Hoy from TIME associates attended last weeks regional meeting chaired by James Jennison. Sharing ideas and support from one franchisee to another was the main focus of the meeting. There was one interesting point that Glenn wanted to share with the rest of the network and that was how to best utilise your Activity Professionals as part of your sales resource.
