Finally, the news we’ve all been waiting for...

The news we’ve all been waiting for as the government have this week announced they will continue their investment into the Primary PE and Sport Premium Funding.

The Primary PE & Sport Premium was introduced in 2013 and saw the government allocate funding of £150 million per annum for academic years 2013 to 2014 and 2014 to 2015 to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools in England. This funding would go directly to primary school headteachers in order for them to decide how to use it to best provide PE and sporting activities for pupils.

“Most businesses are missing many opportunities to engage customers. We have found that across social networks and traditional selling channels – email, telephone and storefronts – companies miss or mishandle up to 80% of customer engagement opportunities. And a missed opportunity means lost revenue.Corinne Sklar, Chief Marketing Officer at Bluewolf. The Guardian 2015

“If you haven’t got social media as part of your marketing strategy, I would strongly advise you to book onto the next course. Yes, the initial outlay sounds a lot but when I compared it to the amount we spend on leaflets, AP time delivering leaflets and assemblies, I soon realised we spent more than this each term for a low ROI. Your greatest USP - are you benefiting? Other franchisees are...

Are you and your schools accessing and utilising our single biggest USP, the Schools Portal?

Premier Sport business partners, Karl Fox and Danny Boswell recently saved a school contract worth over £10k per year purely because of the School Portal. This Headteacher had decided that she could find alternative provision cheaper elsewhere. That was until Danny showed her our unique Schools Portal, which includes years worth of planning and pupil assessments.

She was blown away by the quality and added value that she had previously been unaware of and, needless to say, she retained the provision and is looking forward to utilising the Portal next year.

You can see the latest usage stats below, where do you and your business rank?

I don’t need an extra £15k a year...

...said no one ever... but this is what your business is potentially missing out on if you are not utilising Base Line Measurements (BLM’s), even without up-selling a Premier Sport event!

Golden Mile Director, Karl Fox commented; “In my franchises, BLM’s have had a colossal impact on the way we approach schools and indeed in the way we up serve to our customers. We’ve reduced so much waste which has enabled us to employ a full-time and a part-time member of staff to oversee this part of the business.”
