Premier Sport is delighted to welcome Gareth Owen who launches his Blackpool territory this month. The former Royal Marine Commando joins six new starters to Premier Education Group following completion of Premier’s rigorous induction process.

Gareth lives in Southport with his wife Kay their two teenage daughters. It is all change this month in the Owen household, as one daughter begins her degree course at Sheffield University and Gareth embarks on a new career with Premier.

If ever there were a business partnership which perfectly fitted both parties, this is it... Dan Gyles graduated this summer from the University of St Mark & St John University Plymouth with a BA (Hons) Degree in Coaching and Physical Education. Whilst at Plymouth Dan balanced his studies with developing his coaching and leadership skills.

Peter Bulteel is the latest in a long line of primary and secondary school teachers to join the Premier family over the past few years.

Peter enjoyed a successful career in the private and state education sector as a PE teacher. For the last 15 year he’s taught at the independent boarding school Leighton Park School in Reading. His last role was Head of Boy’s Games and taught year 7 to year 13. Prior to this role, Peter worked in a number of secondary school across Kent.

Samantha Barton joins the Premier network from the Leisure Industry where she worked as Community Engagement Manager in Suffolk.

This is where she first witnessed Premier Sport in action, through the work the local franchisee was doing during the holiday period in her Leisure Centre. This really is the case that she liked what she saw to decided to buy into the Premier Family!

Premier Education Group is excited to welcome former Police Officer, Simon Gibbons to the Premier Sport network.

Simon is a Business Management graduate and for the last 12 years he’s been a Police Officer for the Humberside Constabulary. The geographic area which Simon has been operating within is one of the busiest and most challenging in the UK in terms of crime rates and social economic issues. Simon has witnessed firsthand the negative effect on children’s wellbeing by not having the opportunities to experience regular activity and structured play.

On Wednesday 11th November, Olympic gold medalist Duncan Goodhew MBE surprised the pupils at the John Whitgift Academy in Grimsby to raise the flag on their Road to Rio activities.

On the day, over 40 children took part from five primary schools across Grimsby trying Olympic disciplines such as Fencing, Athletics and Archery with a little Dodgeball thrown in for good measure too. All the activities delivered by specialists from Premier Sport, the UK’s leading provider of physical education and sports coaching services to schools, whose mission is to inspire young people through PE, sport and physical activity.
