National Voice, Local Accent
We need your local accent to share our national voice to all stakeholders in your area. This will help us continue adding real value to our brand & products both nationally & locally. It's a two way commitment.
We’re now gaining real traction nationally with key stakeholders due to our unrivalled scalability across the UK. We’ll continue to present your high quality data to the likes of government and Sport England to help shape the national landscape. There are a number of ways we echo your impact on a national level and a fine example of is CEO David Batch and Danny Melling will be presenting a snapshot of your BMS data to Sport England’s Chief Executive, Jennie Price and Mike Diaper (Community Sport) next Friday.
A two way process:
- Ensure you keep uploading high quality data to the BMS so we can communicate your work nationally.
- The best source of info from Premier HQ is the weekly newsletter - Keep reading it and make sure you carry out any relevant action points.
- Please ensure you share all good practice stories locally as part of your local sales & marketing campaign – e.g. How many of you circulated Monday’s My Personal Best eshot to new and existing schools to begin dialogue? OR how many of your circulated the national CQI survey link encouraging schools to complete.

‘Holidays are Coming’ - Are you Engaging or Disengaging?
WOW it’s that time of year again and it seems only last week that Andy was putting together the structure of the Inspire to Engage holiday course programme. The summer holidays is undoubtedly the best time of year as an Aactivity Professional - delivering sport and fun physical activities to children in the sunshine (but mostly in the rain!)
However, it can also be a period of disengagement! The summer period is crucial to the success and sustainability of PEG businesses and the purpose of the Inspire to Engage structure is to ensure all holiday courses do engage and meet the objectives of all our parents/children. When writing the programme, we went through a period of consultation with these two stakeholder groups to see exactly what it is they would like from a PEG holiday course.
So, onto our initial question, are you engaging or disengaging?

Five Essential Sales & Marketing Packages Waiting for You...
If there are five products/services we would say are a must for your business, from a sale and marketing perspective, then here they are -
1. Landing Page Package - Our Landing Page packages offer you the advantage of having your own mini website to ensure a localised visibility. The standard package includes monthly reporting and two free email campaigns to a stakeholder of your choice.
2. Time Associates – in order to get new business, you need to get into new schools. Why waste time trying to book meetings, leave it to the experts from Time Associates who will do it for you.
3. Official Social Media CIM Training Course - We now have 70% of the network running official social media accounts across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. If you’re among the 30%, you need to book onto the course ASAP. The question is, why wouldn’t you want to promote your business to customers in your area?
4. Leisure Jobs Advert – Looking to recruit for new Activity Professionals ahead of the new school year? Leisure Jobs adverts has proved to be one of the most successful ways for Franchisees to raise awareness and generate applications for positions within PEG franchises.
5. Complete Data Overhaul - Is your data on the BMS relevant, up to date and relevant? We are now pleased to be offering franchisees and licensees a complete data overhaul to ensure you are as effective in your marketing activities as possible.

Sainsbury’s Active Kids - Be Active Challenge
Sainsbury’s, ukactive and Premier Sport have partnered to launch the new Sainsbury’s ‘Be Active’ Challenge this summer. We are very privileged to be asked to work on such a large scale project and we can’t wait to see the impact this document will have on thousands of families and children up and down the country.
Andy Heald commented: “To be challenged and tasked with pulling the activities and simple structure for this programme together was brilliant; I certainly had fun and gave joy experimenting with my children to come up with the simple activities that i am sure all families will enjoy doing with their children as much as i did. This is huge opportunity to work with such big company as Sainsbury’s and the messaging is in line with the objectives of both Premier Sport/PEG and ukactive to get more people, more active, more often! “
In support for the new programme, please print the PDF and share with your schools, with parents on holiday courses and get involved on social media too. Why not get your Activity Professionals filming these activities throughout the week and send them to Gemma?
