PESS External Verifier ‘astounded’ by Combined Qualification...

Dick Matthews, a PESS External Verifier for 1st4sport recently visited Head Office to observe our ability to deliver the 3 in 1 combined qualification, including PESS L2, Principles of Coaching L2 and Multi-Skills L2. Before Dick’s visit, he questioned how we can blend this valuable learning into a one week course.

We’re delighted to announce that Dick’s external verification of the Combined Qualification (CQ) received fantastic feedback. So impressed, Dick has suggested a colleague of his attends the next CQ at PEG HQ.

Following the verification, he commented:

“I’m astounded at the progress Premier Education Group has made in just 18 months of delivering the new Combined Qualification. The Qualification provided by PEG will go from strength to strength and would urge all activity providers to attend the course.”

The marketing department welcomed The Chartered Institute of Marketing and a number of franchisees to HQ for competition of the social media course. Next step will be launching their own official Facebook/Twitter accounts. Missed the training? The next course will be in September – details to follow soon.

This week we had five franchisees, three Activity Professionals and one apprentice attend the Combined Qualification (CQ) course at PEG HQ. We’ve now had 18 learners on just two QC courses; all of which taking advantage of the low cost of just £125 per level two qualification.

Introducing Jasmine to the head office team...

We’re delighted to introduce Jasmine Gale as the newest member of Head Office Marketing Team.

Jasmine joins us as Marketing Executive after recently relocating from Sydney, Australia. She has experience across the marketing mix, including social media and online marketing and she will be working across all the Premier Education Group brands.

Jasmine will be your main point of contact on the marketing@ email and, as part of the Head Office reshuffle, Liz Bevington has now moved from Marketing to support the Customer Services team.

When you are contacting schools for the first time to arrange a meeting, think about the emphasis on the content of your communication e.g. by letter, email, telephone call etc.

Your schools have budgeted for it, have you? It’s contract renewal time...

Have you planned and budgeted for your increased costs from next year?

If not, now is the time you must do so, before you sign contract renewals. Schools are likely to have budgeted for it and expect a minimal rise year on year.

A 3% increase now will be better and easier for you to manage than nothing this year and then 6% next year!

Termly management accounts – submit yours by 31st May

As you are all aware, your accounts for the period 1st January to 30th April 2015 are due by 31st May. Please ensure you are/have been proactive in passing your financial information to your accountant in order to achieve this.

This was a key process from our NTE event; we have invested in some resource to be able to provide detailed network analysis from your submissions.
