Your very own landing page. The online face of your business...

Having your own website landing page offers you the advantage of a personalised micro-site for your territory, meaning, with just one click of a button, you can drive your customers straight to your page to view your information, timetables, meet your staff and book your courses.

A benefit of purchasing the ‘Advance’ and ‘Pro’ package, is you’ll able to add your landing page web link on all your artwork meaning you can drive your customers straight to the page.

We recommend that your landing page includes the following:

  • Headline.
  • Images/videos.
  • Course details: Timetables, When, Place, Price etc.
  • Facebook and Twitter pages. You can also include your social media links on your landing page to drive more customers to your pages to increase social media engagement and followers.
  • Downloadable material.
  • CTA (call to action). Your landing page will include a ‘Book Now’ button and a course search bar especially for your upcoming course.

Yvonne Gandy - principles and questions around Ofsted’s Inspection Framework

Step 1 - Watch Yvonne’s video

(It’s all an illusion, Yvonne’s office is a lot tidier in real life! A video backdrop is on its way to her!)

Step 2 – Download these common Inspection Framework questions

Inspection Framework Questions

These questions are posed by Yvonne during her video. She will discuss these during her GoToMeeting (step 3), so make sure you’ve looked at these ahead of Thursday.

Step 3 – Join Yvonne’s GoToMeeting next Thursday

As a follow up to Yvonne’s video, she’ll be hosting a GoToMeeting next Thursday 19th November, 6pm - 7pm. There is no need to preregister, simply follow this link just before the session kicks off.

Schools Portal dashboard going live - Are you ready?

You and your staff members have now had two weeks to familiarise yourselves with the Schools Portal dashboard via the staging site, ensuring all data is correct before going live.

We aim to go live with a ‘soft launch’ next Thursday 19th November. This means that it will go live but we won’t communicate this to schools until the official launch, a week later on 27th November.

We’re very excited about the launch and had minimal problems reported by franchisees over the past couple of weeks which is great news. Please ensure you are ready to go and start to really embed this USP into everything you do with schools.

We’ve included some FAQs and answers from franchisees that may help you. We will also release some tutorial videos too.

Business Booster B2B event – Lea Marston Hotel, Tues 8th Dec

As mentioned in the recent newsletters, we’ll be offering some differentiated support and Business2Business networking days for franchisees. These started with the recent 100 Club event which was a real success. The next event will be a ‘Business Booster’ event for any franchisees that are building towards 100 Clubs status.

Due to the success of the last event and the feedback from franchisees, we’ve decided to repeat the format and include the same speakers, who’ll help you achieve your goals of reaching the 100 Club. You will have seen the number of ‘outstanding ideas’ that we’ve shared from the last event, all of which are helping franchisees to implement growth and expansion strategies.

Halloween half-term a hit with parents

In last week’s Parent newsletter, we asked them to complete a very quick survey based on their experience following half term Halloween activities.

Some highlights from the survey -

  1. Even though the average price across the network has increased, 97% said it was excellent/good value for money
  2. 97% said your reliability was excellent/good
  3. 95% of children extremely enjoyed/enjoyed the activity

We’ve also noticed an interesting shift in buying behaviour with 77% booking online for the activity.

An ever pleasing result was 94% said booking with us was very easy/easy, suggesting our online booking process is good.

Road to Rio starts now for Grimsby Schools

Olympic gold medalist Duncan Goodhew MBE surprised the pupils at the John Whitgift Academy in Grimsby to raise the flag on their Road to Rio activities along with new franchisee, Simon Gibbons.

On the day, over 40 children took part from five primary schools across Grimsby trying Olympic disciplines such as, Fencing, Athletics, and Archery, with a little Dodgeball thrown in for good measure too. All the activities delivered by specialists from Premier Sport, the UK’s leading provider of physical education and sports coaching services to schools, whose mission is to inspire young people through PE, sport and physical activity.

The art of ‘giving’ and not ‘asking’

“When did you last get an unexpected ‘gift’ from a supplier or client and how did you feel?” asks Glenn Hoy of TIME Assosiates.

Going on to add, “it may not have been a personal gift but could have been some information about your market sector, a business book or even an article about your favourite sport or pastime.”

Glenn asks this question because he believes that whatever the ‘gift’, you are very likely to have positive feelings about the person who sent it. Glenn’s view is, “staying in touch outside the sales cycle is one of the best ways of developing trust in a relationship. In short you are ‘giving not asking’ – try it, it works.”
