Monthly BMS Update - New Features & Changes

User Changes

Large overhaul of the user section, with improvements made to validation when creating/editing users and updating files. We’ve added further duplicate user detection (based on last name & DOB) to help prevent duplicate users being added to the system - reminder that users should have one account that is linked to multiple business (not separate accounts).

There’s now a single user page (admin.premiersport.org/user/xx) that gives a complete overview of the user with associated information on each business - and also Manager and AP profiles.

MOS icon - you can now hover over the MOS status and it will explain the reason given for Red/Amber/Green.

Booking Notifications

It’s now possible to set certain email addresses to receive booking related email notifications, at the moment these include:

• Late Bookings (Bookings on courses that have already started)
• School Funded (If payment to school is required)
• Childcare Vouchers (When a childcare voucher is used)

Course Booking

Course booking table updated to show additional information on Childcare voucher payments or if the payment needs to go to the school direct. Affected pages are course details admin.premiersport.org/courses/xx and booking detail page admin.premiersport.org/bookings?payment=xxx.

Insurance

Insurance companies updated - LRO to STB and Perkins Slade to Howdens.

Premier Transition Brand Update

All references to Premier Transition in the BMS have been updated to Premier Wellbeing.

School Funded Courses

As stated previously email notifications are now sent out to the business booking contacts when a payment to school is required.

Within the school portal it’s now possible to record that a payment has been received for each booking.

KPI Report Update

The KPI Report can now be filtered by activity.

Parent Cumulative Spend on Booking Report

Total spend is now shown on parent profile pages, e.g. admin.premiersport.org/participants/xxx

Teacher Register

Select/Deselect all button added to Class Register page, e.g. admin.premiersport.org/teachers/xxx/register.

Staff Only Updates:

• sport.premier-education.come website has been retired, relevant redirects now set up to premier-education.com/sport etc.
• HQ now copied in on course cancellation emails, so refunds can be actioned faster
• Default Commission rates now set when creating an agreement admin.premiersport/agreements/add.
• You can now manually add Birthday Parties via the BMS admin.premiersport.org/birthday-parties/add.
• admin.premiersport.org/qualifications list updated.
• You can now edit promo codes with weird characters.
• Email signature updated for marketing emails from the ‘Contacts’ area of the BMS.
• Territory Potential Values report and dashboard widget fixed, total schools value was wrong.
• Insurance and AP approvals widget totals fixed.

Annoying Bugs Squashed:

• Family portal login issues resolved, users were seeing ‘The security validation for this page has timed out’.
• FAQ link wasn’t working in booking emails.
• Walk home from school option wasn’t showing the correct value on class registers in the BMS.
• In certain circumstances when attempting to schedule an assessment it would error.
• In certain circumstances when attempting to raise an invoice a blank screen was shown.

Upcoming Changes:

• sport.premier-education.com/locations will soon be moved to family.premier-education.com.
• Promo code enhancements.
• MOS Upgrades (Skills Gap Analysis).

This document has gone out to all County Sports Partnerships and you will find a reference to Premier under number 23, don’t wait for them to contact us, but instead please be proactive and make contact with your CSP to ask if they need some support.

The second document, PP Position Statement is a paper pulled together by the County Sport Partnership Network which has gone to all CSPs to encourage them to take stock and refocus effort to do what they can to drive increased impact from this funding.

Premier Launch Event...

Last week on Friday 3rd November at Emirates Stadium, London, Premier officially unveiled its new brand and vision to a crowd of staff, franchisees and special guests. Our new mission: to Educate and Activate the World.

Premier CEO David Batch kicked off the event with a presentation introducing the company’s new brand and direction. In addition to gaining a new logo and a more modern feel, we’ve shortened our name down to just Premier - it’s easily recognisable, and encompasses all of the products in the Premier family. These changes will help usher Premier into the future, as the organisation continues to expand across the UK and internationally into the United States, India and China.

Another exciting announcement on the agenda was the addition of Olympic Gold Medallist Duncan Goodhew MBE to the Premier team. A legend in the UK sport world and beyond for his achievements in Swimming and promoting physical activity, Duncan has served for many years as a Premier Sport Ambassador and a Premier Education Group Director. Now, he will officially join us as Chairman.

The event was capped with an auction for Premier Foundation, our partnered charity who provide physical activity opportunities for disadvantaged young people. On the auction block were Club Wembley FA Cup Final Tickets, a signed tennis ball by Andy Murray and other coveted sport memorabilia, overall raising an incredible £1,612 that will help support the vital work the Foundation do and the children that need it.

Prior to the auction, we proudly showcased Premier Foundation’s new video that highlights the vital work they do and the ways in which they actively change the lives of young people across the country. Each year, the contributions made by the Premier Foundation have a huge and positive impact on the people they work with, from those who suffer with mental health to young people living in disadvantaged areas, or those simply wanting to change the pre-determined path on which they may have been set.

In the audience helping us celebrate these new strides were Premier staff, franchisees and external stakeholders, including Sport England, ukactive and others. Everyone was invited to take part in an Emirates Stadium tour, where they got to see up close where Arsenal take the field.

We’re on our way to Educating and Activating the World.

SAVE THE DATE - On the 15th and 16th February 2018 we are due to hold the next Franchisee National Training Event.

Winter Camps Leaflets

The process is simple - just complete the Job Request Form and send to [email protected]. We will do the rest! You'll receive a proof within two weeks (but usually much less), once this has been approved you'll need to purchase your leaflets here - along with the appropriate design time and amendment fees, then we'll schedule for print. You'll receive your leaflets 3-5 days after your purchase.

If you’d like, we can band your leaflets in 30’s ready for you to hand them out in schools. We appreciate that at £100 this isn’t cheap, but it’s a time consuming process which saves you and your staff vital time.
