Welcome to April’s #morethansport newsletter.

April has been a busy month at Premier. We have just completed our Easter franchisee induction course and I am personally delighted to announce that our coverage continues with Stuart Kingsley Smith launching in Bournemouth & Totton and Matt Goacher embarking on his new career in Portsmouth. I look forward to introducing you to these top guys and sharing their successes in a future newsletters.

I was proud to present to the judges of this year’s bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards. Premier is excited to be one of three finalists in the franchisee recruitment award. Although we will have to wait until the end of June for the result, everyone at Premier is proud of our achievement and for being recognised ahead of 100’s of other franchise brands.

And finally, you may remember George Osborne in his Budget statement mention the “sugar tax”. Did you realise that the monies raised will double the Schools Sport Premium funding in every Primary School?! Now who do I know who is in the business of getting children active?

P.S Just in case you haven’t noticed our huge banner above, how about this for a staggering fact: a child gets active with Premier every second, of every working day, of every week! Now that is what I call impact!

Shortlisted in the 2016 bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards

Premier Sport has been shortlisted for the Franchisee Recruitment category at the prestigious 2016 bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards.

Premier Sport, which was established 16 years ago, is the UK’s largest children’s coaching company of its kind, receiving over 8.5 million visits on their activities every year. That’s the equivalent to a child getting active, every second, of every working day, of every week. Or in other terms, the number of children it coaches each week would fill the Olympic stadium in London four times over.

...Is something we’ve known and now it’s official!

After school clubs and sports can improve the academic performance and social skills of disadvantaged primary school pupils, research finds.
